Chapter Awards

Catherine Hubbard Dace American History Memorial Award

The award honors a charter member of our chapter, Catherine Hubbard Dace, who was the only female graduate of San Fernando High School in 1903. Ms. Dace had a strong commitment to the ideals of DAR that were reflected in her life. The award is available each year for a graduating female, college-bound student at San Fernando High School, San Fernando, California.  Applicants are required to submit an essay on a topic related to DAR ideals.  Please contact us for more information.

Veterans Assistance Fund, in memory of Natalie Moore

The chapter is very grateful for the donation from Natalie Moore which we use to support our veterans as their needs arise. We often send them gas cards, food cards, and meet their requests regularly. It is in honor and memory of our member, Natalie Moore, that we can do this.
